Kodak EASYSHARE M1033 10 Megapixel Digital Camera

I must say, I just received this digital camera a couple of days ago, and I must say I am incredibly impressed with it’s capabilities. Now, while I am impressed with it, that doesn’t mean I have dislikes about it too. Let’s start with the bad.
To start with, the camera does not give you t he ability to read it’s battery information. This is a HUGE problem with the camera that I have, it’s like, one of my biggest hates of it. Besides that fact, the camera has a couple of performance issues, one of them being that if you are taking pictures at a rapid rate, eventually it stops letting you take them, just showing a ‘Processing…” window for around 10-15 seconds, before allowing you to continue snapping the pictures away. While not a huge issue, it’s disheartening to see such a well-preforming camera needing to take a breather in the middle of me profiling something. One final flaw that I’ve witnessed is that occasionally the software on the PC will not delete the images from the camera correctly, thus causing the camera to show blank pictures when reviewing the one’s you’ve taken, but despite that it’s fixed if you format the camera’s memory.
Now then, to the good.
Now here’s where it’s going to get good, this camera naturally had the power and memory to take 10 pictures out-of-the-box, at full quality. That was a big plus with me, personally. After I got home I popped in my 8GB SDHC card, and discovered that I could take, roughly, 2550 photos with it, at full quality, which was amazing when I thought about it. Great! Then I discovered that it could record video in 720P resolution, I was completely sold. This camera has great quality pictures, and a great quality on the picture and sound of a video. Beautiful.
Now, while there are more cons that pro’s about the camera, I was very happy with it, and Id like to lie the final word down about it. The camera is definitely over the top for a compact camera like itself, and I would definitely recommend the camera to friends, family, and anyone who’s looking to get a Digital Camera on a budget, or just getting started with photography. This camera preforms amazingly, and deserves every bit of praise it’s given. But really, I wish there was a battery meter.
Below I posted a few pictures taken with the camera.
Welcome, to the insanity of my mind.
